| firefirefly.blogspot Username - It's firefly, but with some more fire in there. Um, okay. I guess I can't complain though; all the other usernames you wanted were taken and you didn't use any numbers or x's. Good job. First Impression - It's red, but not the nice angry sort of red that would suggest you are an angry person. The red and the white work together and create an almost calming effect, with all the faded shit there. It's like the kind of layout I would expect a cutter to have. Please don't be all angsty like that. HOWEVER, because it is in weblog style, I automatically think "bitch ass camwhore" and I want to kill you and then myself. Errors - I HATE the fact that it's in weblog style. I'm counting that as an error. On your part. You should also make your diaryland and blogspot layouts match, because they don't and you link the two interchangeably and it pisses me off. And occasionally you mess up a little with grammar, but as I understand it, English is not your first language. when one takes that into consideration, your command of the English language is quite good. 2/10 Layout - Like I said, it's all red and cutter-y and there are some scissors on it. And it's in weblog format and I JUST DON'T LIKE THAT. Especially not for you. And in your little place-y for comments, the comments all automatically show up. Don't do that, it looks weird. Is there any way to change that so you have to click to see the comments? Because I don't really give a damn what people think of each individual entry of yours.3/20 Content - ... ... What in the FUCK are you doing with a weblog? I read your ten most recent entries [I know I said you had to have at least twenty entries, but, c'mon] and just.. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A WEBLOG?! These entries are deserving of seperate pages, not all strung together like they are worthless daylog. "Blue shirts flapped in the breeze, alongside other assortments of clothes. Only wooden pegs held them secure to the tight lines hanging out the window. They say that clothes are an expression of the soul; if so, these people were baring their innermost thoughts and feelings as they let their undergarments out to dry in public view. But I'm being impractical. I think that most people have better things to think about, like whether the clothes are dry, or not." Christ, will you LOOK at that?! Now I'm just pissed off. If you would change your goddamned layout, you'd have a near perfect fucking diary. When you write, you frame moments. You capture them behind glass and you put them here for the world to see. But your layout and your writing style just don't work well together... a weblog is really for writers who don't capture and frame the way you do. Your writing has a certain weight to it, and each entry is deserving of its own page to further emphasize that frame you put around it. If you were daylogging, or if every day and entry ran into eachother like so many others do, or if your entries were shorter, you would belong with a blog style. But you DON'T. And.. just... Bah I'm getting frustrated. You get points off of here because you've frustrated me so badly, even though I really enjoy your writing. In fact, the only problems I had with it are the fact that you are using a fucking WEBLOG OF DOOM and that I wish I knew more about you. 63/65 Would I Come Back? - I'm afraid I might be overcome with the urge to beat you over the head over and over again for having such a shitty layout. 0/5 Bonus - AUGH. JUST... AUGH. You get one bonus point for pissing me off the most of any of my reviews thus far. +1/5 Total - 69/100. I need a drink or something. Jesus fucking christ. Reviewed by Amanda Elizabeth's comments: I ... was really obsessed with a few Photoshop brushes for a while, so, hence the angsty layout. All my current templates look the same. I really hate Diaryland! The small text boxes, even though you can resize it, it's really annoying when you want to type entries using another computer, the annoying way they manage entries, no flexibility or anything.. The only thing that I like about it is 'Notes'... so I moved. It's not a weblog, just a journal in the wrong place =) Thanks for taking the time to review me! | ||
